FRKWYS Vol. 15: serenitatem: Ambient Experiment by Visible Cloaks, Yoshio Ojima & Satsuki Shibano
Visible Cloaks haben sich mit den japanischen Avantgarde Musikern Yoshio Ojima & Satsuki Shibano zusammengetan und das Album ’serenitatem‘ aufgenommen. Ein Versuch den fernöstlichen Ambient-Sound der 80er und 90er Jahre weiter voranzutreiben.

Das ganze erscheint als der fünfzehnte Teil, der Reihe ‚FRKWYS‘ des in Brooklyn NY sitzenden Musikinstitutes/Labels RVNG (mit dem ich mich auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder beschäftigen muss).
Der erste Song ‚Stratum‘ klingt jedenfalls großartig und beweist einmal mehr, dass Visible Cloaks zu den kulturellen Transformatoren sowie den neuen Geschichtsschreibern moderner Ambient-Musik zählen.
Auf Bandcamp lässt sich das Vinyl schon vorbestellen. Erscheint damm am 05. April 2019
