The Cure spielen ‚Disintegration‘ komplett live aus der Sydney Opera Hall

Hatte ich bereits hier schon angeteasert. Gestern war es dann soweit und die Show wurde live auf YouTube gestreamt. Natürlich gibt’s das Ganze auch zum Nachgucken, have fun!

Wie zu erwarten war ein grandioser Gig. Robert Smith war sichtlich gut drauf und hat für seine Verhältnisse sogar recht viel gesprochen und bei ‚Lullaby‘ hat er sogar ein bisschen getanzt.

Bevor die Jungs ‚Disintegration‘ in voller länger gespielt haben, gaben sie noch ein paar B-Seiten aus den Sessions zum Album zum Besten unter Anderen den von mir sehr geschätzten Song ‚Fear of Ghosts‘.

In der Zugabe gab es dann ‚Burn‘ von Soundtrack ‚The Crow‘ mit Brandon Lee. Viel besser hätte es also kaum sein können, außer vielleicht wenn sie noch einen neuen Song gespielt hätten.

Doch in bin mit sicher, dass wir von ‚The Cure‘ in diesem Jahr noch was hören werden…
